Something Old {Dallas-Plano-Frisco Wedding Photographer} Johnita Salerno

Ok, you are thinking about your wedding and instantly become overwhelmed. You have thought about this moment for years and now it is here. So where is the magic eight ball now. Should you invite Aunt Augustine and Cousin Frank? Will the dress be ready in time? Can I get the venue on our date?
I know I said I would offer "Something Old"...well do you remember cootie catchers or fortune tellers, right from grade school. Well here is a new take on an old favor. Yes, these are cute little favors now for weddings. Here is my take. I will post a wedding or shower version next.

Something Borrowed {Dallas-Plano-Frisco Wedding Photographer} Johnita Salerno

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue
As a photographer, I enjoy seeing the wedding day blossom into the beautiful day that has been planned by the bride and groom. Usually when I come into the picture (I know the pun), the colors may not be selected, the favors are ideas, and the cake is definitely not tasted. It is fun to see how the bride and groom's personalities come through on the wedding day.

It has been a lifetime ago that I planned my wedding, however, I still daydream through the bridal magazines, websites, and books. It seems more resources are available to brides now from printing your own invitations to making your own favors. Handmade is the new trend and I love a good handmade find. So when I saw these little birds nest, I feel in love. They are modern with a kiss of vintage. Attach it to a ring pillow and the love birds can take flight.

Biggest Wedding Event of the Year {DFW, Frisco Wedding Photographer}

I photographed one of the most important wedding events in my daughter's. Ok, really, it was not "her" wedding, it was Bunny Cupcake and Wilbur's big day. You see my daughter wanted a wedding theme birthday. She had many of the elements planned..the dance, the cake, the cake topper, the dress, and the photos. In her short years, she has watched me go off to weddings, talk about brides and dresses, appointments, and even watched a photo shoot. I thougth I would share with you...the biggest event of the year (her birhday).
